Contribute
to the ICB
To submit an article to the
ICB, you may:
 |
Send it via e-mail. A Word document
is preferred, with RTF second and plain text third.
|
 |
Games are preferred in ChessBase archive format or
in pgn format. If you don't have ChessBase, you may
download ChessBase
Light |
 |
For pgn format, you can use most databases or chessplaying
programs. Additionally, you can try this freeware:
KenChess PGN Viewer may be found here. This is an excellent program for entering games to
a text file that is readable by other databases.
You will need an unzipping program. If you don't
already have Winzip, you may get it free here: http://www.winzip.com/.
|
 |
Please e-mail the files to the editor. Currently,
submissions may be sent to Pete Karagianis.
|
 |
Game submissions may also go to Games Editor FM
Al Chow by e-mail or snail mail
to Al Chow, 3513 N Seminary, Chicago, IL 60657.
|
PLEASE
DO NOT submit games in other "odd" electronic
formats. For example, a game submitted in Excel with gif diagrams
DOES NOT help us in any form over a handwritten format. We
will in fact, print it out only to re-enter the game. For
example, we would probably prefer a plain text file with no
diagrams to this type of submission, because the text file
can likely be converted to PGN with some ease.
Thank you in advance for your
contributions to the ICB. It is first and foremost you, the
players, that make this a successful state magazine.
