Membership in the Illinois Chess Association is $15 per year for adults and $10 scholastic members. Membership includes a subscription to the award winning Illinois Chess Bulletin.

Members who wish to show increased support of Illinois Chess are encouraged to become patron members. There are two levels of patron membership: Patron at $50 per year and Century Club at $100 per year. Patron members are recognized each issue in the ICB and the ICA Members web page. The ICA's 501 (C) (3) status means the amount over $18 may be listed as a charitable contribution on your tax return.

Chess Clubs and schools may affiliate with the ICA for $25 per year. Affiliates may have their events listed on the ICA Tournament Calendar, and are listed in the ICB and on the Illinois Sites pages.

Corporations wishing to sponsor the ICA will receive recognition in the ICB.
